MAX & MEL EMU BOARD or D-NET / Bell Express Vu Emulator Board with ATTINY 2313 IC & MAXIM MAX232 IC InstalledCODE FREE

This board is finally a reality! Better than a season interface, better than a AVR Device, it was built with one thing in mind.. DishNet or Bell Express Vu Emulation. THIS BOARD WILL RUN DIRECTLY OFF OF YOUR CURRENT COM1 OR COM2 ON ANY PC. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS ARE A 486/66 WITH 8MB RAM (cemu). The board has a socket (female) DB9 connector so any serial cable will work, but for long runs of cable (over 20 ft.) a switch to CAT5/RJ45 is recommended. We tested this board with 300' (THREE HUNDRED FEET!!) of CAT5 and ran fine. See below for the EMU KIT. Unlike other dish EMU solutions, this board does NOT require a special cable with diodes and such. It also does NOT require an altered PCI Serial Card. There is an on board MAX232A chip, just like season EMULATION boards, but there is also a NEW ATMEL ATTINY 2313 chip (that's how we got the name Max & Mel) that accepts the higher-than-pc frequency that echo uses. These boards work fine running WINVU! and CEMU and currently being tested on JAVA EMU. They currently DO NOT work on IRDS with ANTI-AVR EMULATION updates like 301/3100/501/5100.
